While in Afghanistan Dan had been informed that he was a candidate for the specialized Army "school" Emergency Medical Training. Last week all the candidates were tested and Dan was one of the highest scores. He was selected and today (January 11) he started a six week training course. This is very intensive with a lot of reading during the four weeks of classroom work. There are two weeks of field work riding around in an emergency vehicle and hands on in an emergency room in a local hospital in Savannah, Georgia. I am sure Dan would appreciate your prayers!The good thing about this prayer request is that nobody is shooting at him this time.
